Varicose Vein Presentation and Screening With Dr. Kim

In their ongoing commitment to community involvement and education, CORE Medical & Wellness is proud to partner with KIP 55 Center to offer an educational seminar and vein screening this August! Hosted by Dr. Steven Kim, this free presentation aims to assist those who might be living with varicose veins about symptoms and treatment options. Dr. Kim believes that diseases of the veins are often neglected by individuals due to a lack of information, and it’s his goal to help inform you about the many ways to get rid of your varicose veins.

Dr. Steven Kim attended Cornell University, where he received his B.A. in Biochemistry. From there, he went on to complete his M.S. at Columbia University and his M.D. at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center. After training at Lenox Hill Hospital, Dr. Kim has gone on to be a clinical educator for such major healthcare giants as Johnson & Johnson and Gilead Sciences.

Dr. Kim has an extensive background in vein treatment, and his expertise in treating varicose veins and vein disease has made him a valuable member of the CORE Medical & Wellness family. Dr. Kim founded The Vein Treatment Center in 2015, and also co-founded FirstMed Urgent Care Clinic in Fort Lee, NJ. He was the medical director at both.

In addition to spending time educating the community, Dr. Kim also enjoys trips to the beach, reading non-fiction, playing piano, and spending time with his spouse and two children, Matthew and Ella. He is also a long-suffering fan of the Mets.

Originally opened in 1985 at a local parish house, the goal of KIP 55 Center is the physical, emotional, spiritual, and educational well-being of older adults. Through its extensive services, activities, and seminars, 55 KIP Center has become central to its community of over 700 people of all ages. 55 KIP Center’s motto of “Age Wisely” encourages its members to learn new skills, stay in good health, and above all, enjoy life.
