Core Spine & Joint Center celebrated its grand opening on Thursday, October 22, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony in Lyndhurst. The new spine and joint center is part of Core Medical & Wellness and is located at 256 Stuyvesant Avenue.

Lyndhurst Mayor Robert B. Giangeruso and Commissioner of Public Affairs Karen F. Carrino joined the celebration. Core Medical & Wellness physicians, team members, family, friends and community guests also attended. Afterward, guests toured the new center.

What the center offers

Core Spine & Joint Center provides physician-led care for people experiencing spine, joint and musculoskeletal concerns. Because every patient’s needs are different, care starts with personalized treatment options and physician-guided care.

Services include manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, spinal decompression, laser and shockwave therapy. In addition, physician evaluation and interventional pain management are available through Core Medical & Wellness when appropriate.

“For 18 years, we have been proud to serve the Lyndhurst community and earn the trust of our neighbors, and having our practice at this Stuyvesant Ave location for the past decade has deepened that commitment,” said Richard Kang, MD, co-founder of Core Medical & Wellness. “Core Spine & Joint Center extends our promise of personalized, physician-guided care for people dealing with spine, joint and musculoskeletal concerns. Our goal is to help patients understand their treatment options so that they can get back to the ones they love and to the things that they enjoy.”

The center’s clinical team includes chiropractic physicians Dr. Maris Fraga and Dr. Harry Maroulakos. They also work closely with Core Medical & Wellness pain management physicians Richard Kang, MD and Jag Desai, MD.
